Election results and turnout

re-elected Andrew Selous

The votes have been verified and counted and the election results for South West Bedfordshire and Mid Bedfordshire Parliamentary constituencies have been announced.

Andrew Selous has been re-elected as the MP for South West Bedfordshire and Nadine Dorries has been re-elected as the MP for Mid Bedfordshire.

Acting Returning Officer, Richard Carr, Chief Executive for Central Bedfordshire Council said: “I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who helped administer these elections, which is a huge endeavour involving a small army of people before polling day through to the count and declaration of the results.”

Turn out for elections for South West Bedfordshire was 67 percent. Turn out for elections for Mid Bedfordshire was 74 percent.
