The Treorchy Male Choir will be performing at a concert
to raise funds for St Francis Children’s Society this autumn!
The world famous Treorchy Male Choir has been recognised as one of the greatest choral ensembles of all time. Early competition victories were followed by regular radio and television broadcasts, feature films and an unequalled number of commercial recordings. The Choir has given several Royal Command Performances, appeared alongside international entertainers and undertaken several tours to Canada, USA, New Zealand and Australia.
They have been invited to perform at the Trinity Methodist Church, Leighton Buzzard by local lady Mrs M Powell, an adoptive parent and active supporter of SFCS.
Profits from this event will help to fund the services that St. Francis’ Children’s Society provides to adopters and their children. St Francis support services. Based in Milton Keynes, they cover Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire, Hertfordshire, and parts of Cambridgeshire and East Anglia to helps people to overcome barriers to adoption, and the wide range of support services available to their adopters before, during and after placement. SFCS is especially committed to finding families for those children who wait longest in the care system before finding adoptive families.
